Chief Executive Officer

8 hours per week (job share), homeworking, £32,000 p.a. (pro-rata)

This job will entail sharing the CEO role with our existing CEO, working 8 hours per week. We are looking for exceptional candidates with experience of professional-level (or equivalent) management, leadership skills and strategic thinking. Applicants will need to demonstrate a track record of taking initiative to create new projects, events or initiatives and will be a confident speaker and advocate. They will also need to demonstrate commitment to the values of Pathfinders and the energy and drive to support the organisation as it transitions to the new Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance.

We are looking for someone with lived experience of a neuromuscular condition to take up this role, since being user-led is one of the core values of Pathfinders. We know there are many exceptional candidates out there, and we also acknowledge that many of the suitable candidates will not necessarily have previous CEO experience. We will be flexible to recognise other ways in which you can demonstrate you have the skills and experience required.

The deadline for applications is Friday 11th September at midday. Interviews will be held on the week commencing 14th September. Please email completed application forms to info@dmdpathfinders.org.uk

Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance, formerly DMD Pathfinders, is currently recruiting new trustees to help steer the organisation and oversee its good governance and continued success (e.g. policies and procedures, fundraising, managing risks. etc.)

We are recruiting additional trustees to help as we make the transition to an organisation which supports people with a wide range of neuromuscular conditions. We are particularly seeking representation from people with conditions other than Duchenne to come forward and help us identify and meet the needs and experiences of their community.

We need to be driven by people with a range of conditions and experiences, to ensure we can support as many people as possible to live independently and realise their goals.

If you would like more information on being a trustee or would like to apply, please see the links below. If you have any questions or require further information please contact us at info@dmdpathfinders.org.uk
